Electra

A Japandi Kitchen

The heart of Electra lies in its kitchen—a study in balance and craftsmanship. What began as a compact, closed-off corner was reoriented and expanded to more than double its original size. The new layout allows light and movement to flow freely, transforming the once-cramped condo into a calm, contemporary home.

Each cabinet was hand-built in our own millworking shop, featuring fully integrated, solid hardwood hardware that keeps the lines clean and uninterrupted. While the finished result feels beautifully simple, the technical expertise required to achieve that level of precision was immense—proof that true minimalism often demands the most skill.

Warm white oak cabinetry pairs effortlessly with a perfectly tuned shade of blue and a quartz countertop that mimics the texture of poured concrete. Open shelving adds visual rhythm and softness, while the fully integrated appliances maintain an expansive, uncluttered look. Together, these elements form a kitchen that’s grounded in craftsmanship yet undeniably modern.

A Sleek + Graphic Bathroom

The bathroom was designed to make a statement—bold, cool, and quietly confident. A custom combination of vertically stacked white ceramic tiles and narrow black slate bands creates a dynamic striped pattern that feels graphic yet timeless. The contrast is striking but never overwhelming, striking the perfect balance between masculine edge and refined restraint.

Sleek matte black fixtures punctuate the space with a sense of intention and modernity. Every detail, from the layout to the lighting, was chosen to enhance the sense of flow and calm, making the bathroom feel like an extension of the home’s larger design story.

A Thoughtful Office Nook

Small but mighty, the office nook is a masterclass in spatial creativity. By adding a mirror behind the desk, the reflection of the adjacent windows creates the illusion of an expanded view—making the nook feel nearly twice its size.

A white oak desktop ties seamlessly into the adjoining kitchen, while a sculptural sconce that doubles as a planter introduces a touch of greenery and charm. The result is a flexible workspace that feels intentional rather than improvised—perfect for guests who need to take a quick Zoom call or work remotely during their stay.

In a home where every detail serves both beauty and function, this small moment perfectly captures the spirit of Electra: smart, serene, and purposefully designed to live beautifully at any scale.
